Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 14, 2026 · Versión en español

These Terms govern the use of www.cronosmobility.com and the general conditions of the vehicle rental service provided by CRONOS CORPORATION S.R.L. (“CRONOS Mobility”). The specific rental contract signed for each booking prevails over this summary.

1. Service

CRONOS Mobility offers professional vehicle rental and management by category in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. We guarantee the booked category, not necessarily a specific model, subject to availability.

2. Bookings, payments and currency

  • Rates are expressed in US dollars (USD). Local payment may be made in bolivianos (BOB) at the current operating exchange rate.
  • A booking is confirmed with the established payment and validation of availability, documentation and protection.
  • The booking amount is generally non-refundable. Rescheduling and exceptions require review and authorization.

3. Client requirements

Valid ID or passport, valid driver's license and a security deposit. International clients may be required to provide a passport and an international credit card, plus additional verifications.

4. Mileage, trips and use

  • The base rate includes 100 km per day, cumulative over the contract. Extended-mileage packages are available.
  • Every trip must be declared before handover, stating destination, distance and road type. Some routes require prior assessment.
  • Assigning the vehicle to unauthorized drivers, driving on unauthorized routes, or using the vehicle for illegal purposes is not permitted.

5. Protection and security deposit

Protection plans (Essential and Elite Signature) are commercial products that reduce the client's contractual liability and lower the security deposit, subject to the contract and its exclusions. No plan removes liability entirely. The security deposit is normally released within 48 to 72 hours after inspection, unless there are pending charges.

6. Penalties and charges

Charges may apply for late returns, missing fuel, excess mileage, cleaning, fines, damage from negligent use and other items set out in the contract. Where the amount depends on actual damage, it will be stated as “subject to assessment.”

7. Liability

The client is responsible for compliance with the contract, for traffic fines, and for damage arising from improper or negligent use, as well as for immediately reporting any incident and following the established procedure.

8. Intellectual property

The brand, logo and site content are the property of CRONOS CORPORATION S.R.L. and may not be used without authorization.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.

This is a base version and does not constitute legal advice. We recommend review by a professional to align it with applicable Bolivian regulations and the rental contract.
